I gave a 6 year old a point and shoot during a romantic Palma elopement wedding…

I photograph a lot of elopments in Palma and around Mallorca. Most of them are with The Swedish church. And so was this one. The beatiful couple brought their two children and their parents for a very intimate ceremony in Can Barbara, and later we went into the centre to shoot by the cathedral. Their booked date was actually on the 9th but as the weather forecast was horrible, they managed to postpone for the 11th. Which was so lucky!

Because just look at the magic we created together!

Rain or shine, children very rarely co-operate. And neither did this 6-year old boy. Up intil I asked him to be my assistand. At first he rejected my offer.

But as his curiousness took over, I offered him the position again, and he accepted! Scroll to the bottom to see some of his photos!

Btw, some of my images are shot with a Canon FD 50mm 1,2 lens. They are a bit softer of course. But I can’t help but to love them…

And this is what happens when you give a point and shoot to a 6 year old to keep him interested in the event…

Definitely a budding star photographer, don’t you think? And he only dropped it (on a lawn) once! 😅
