The Swedish Championships of Photography 2026

No medals for me this year, but man was it fun! Just to make it to top 10 is big and I’m very happy to qualify for the print finals at all.

3 years ago I attended alone. And now I have new friends because I decided I was going to be brave enough to put myself out there.

Congrats to my friend Sanna Dolck Wall who brought the silver home in Wedding documentary. It was nerve wracking as she had 2 images in top 5 after the open judging, and I thought she was going to win it! When I won in 2023, I was in second place after the open judging, just like she was, so I really hoped she’d take the gold. But a silver is amazing too 🎉

I ended up in 6th place in Wedding Creative and most importantly, I returned home with new found inspiration - and friends.

My 2026 finalist image, shot June 20th in Mallorca. Got an honorable mention but of course I always strive for that top 5 and a merit diploma. I’ll have to try again in 2027.
