Opening my photography and film studio in El Molinar in Palma

I’m so excited to finally share this: I’ve opened a studio in El Molinar, Palma.
A photography studio? People ask. And yes. I guess it kind of is becoming that.

First of all, Andreas and I just grew out of working from home. We needed space and to distance us from work while at home. Which is nearly impossible when there’s a huge monitor in the living room… 😅

For a long time, my work has lived between places. Wedding venues, family homes, city streets, beaches, hotel rooms, and of course, mostly at home.

Finding an office felt like the natural next step. A place to land.

And as we found the perfect space, we started seeing the potential. A photography and film studio for me. A performance studio for Andreas. Where he is close enough to give me feedback on my work whenever I need, and far away enough to not sweat on me when he does his heat training… If you didn’t know he’s also a triathlon coaching. Coach by day, videographer by night I guess!

Why El Molinar?

El Molinar has a very special energy. It’s calm, local, and full of character — just like 2 minutes from the sea, yet deeply rooted in everyday Mallorcan life. It’s the kind of neighborhood where people greet each other on the street, where light moves beautifully through the day, and where life feels unforced.

Most importantly, it’s very close to our home. Close enough that we can bring our new boys, Sol & Sirius. See studio photos of them below!

What the studio is (and isn’t)

It’s not a traditional studio in the sense that I need to advertise and bring in a bunch of new clients.

It’s our creative home. Where we spend our days working, and can leave work as we step into our actual home.

  • A place to meet my wedding couples in person to have a first meeting or planning session. Without the noise from cafés…

  • Portrait photography (personal and professional)

  • Brand shoots and editorial work

  • Post production - this is where I will create all of your images and wedding films.

The space is intentionally warm and minimal, inspired by Mediterranean light and Scandinavian simplicity. It’s a place where you can slow down, feel comfortable, and just be yourself — whether you’re in front of the camera or sitting down with a coffee to talk ideas.

A space for connection

As a photographer, I’ve always cared deeply about connection. With couples, families, creatives, and business owners. Having a studio allows me to offer a more complete, thoughtful experience — from the first meeting to the final delivery.

It also opens up room for:

  • More intentional portrait sessions

  • Better preparation before weddings

  • A calmer, more personal client journey

  • Creative collaborations and future projects

Looking ahead

Opening this studio feels both grounding and exciting. It’s a foundation for what’s next, creatively and professionally. Aaaand making our home a home again.

If you’re in Palma, I’d love to welcome you here sometime. Pop by for a coffee and discuss your photography needs.
