Planning a Mallorca wedding 2027? It’s time to hire your favorite photographer

If you’re planning a destination wedding in Mallorca in 2027, now is the time to start securing your key wedding professionals, especially your wedding photographer and videographer.

I’m already seeing 2027 dates being booked, particularly for May and June. And I’ve already had to turn couples down. I hate it, and wish I could clone myself!

They say Mallorca continues to be one of the most sought-after wedding destinations in Europe, and I guess that’s why I experiencing a surge in enquiries right now.

And when it comes to booking a wedding photographer here, experienced, locally based photographers are often booked far earlier than couples expect.

Why you should book your Mallorca wedding photographer early

This isn’t about pressure, it’s about logistics.

  • Popular wedding dates book 18–24 months in advance

  • Many couples plan destination weddings long before venue details are final

  • Mallorca has a limited number of photographers who both live on the island and specialise in weddings - all though we have plenty of photographers to cover the demand so no need to fly someone in, unless you’ve fallen in love with a unique style.

  • Certain venues work best with photographers who already know the location, light, and flow of the day

If photography is important to you, not just visually, but emotionally and documentary-wise, booking early gives you options rather than compromises.

Wedding venues I’m booked at for 2026 and 2027

For the 2027 season, I’m already booked at several beautiful Mallorca wedding venues, including:

These venues each have their own rhythm, light conditions, and logistical considerations — something that truly matters when it comes to photography and film.

Venues I’d love to return to (or photograph for the first time)

There are also venues I’d love to work at again — or experience for the first time — during the 2027 season:

  • Son Marroig – I never get tired of that view. The gazebo, the spacious terraces, the mountains and the sea. Let’s just say, I’d happily return.

  • Cap Rocat – new for me, and high on my list!

  • La Residencia – a venue I’d love to return to as well. A hotel with a luxurious yet authentic finca vibe. And Deia is just gorgeous.

If you’re planning your wedding at one of these locations, feel free to reach out early, I’m always happy to talk through ideas, timelines, and what works best at each venue.

Planning a Mallorca wedding in 2027?

If you’re getting married in Mallorca in 2027 and are currently in the planning phase, my advice is simple: start the conversation early.

You don’t need to have everything decided. Many couples reach out before the venue is fully confirmed, and that’s often the smartest moment to secure availability.

If you’d like to check availability, discuss photography or hybrid photo + film coverage, or simply ask a few honest questions about planning a wedding in Mallorca, you’re very welcome to get in touch.
